ok guys i have a question dose anyone have the codes or the engine block #'s for the 1970 camaro my car needs a rebuild and i want to know if my car is a really matching #'s car.

k thanks so i found this real big # between the motor & trany GM 3970014 this is what i found so far.

Go back to that site and look where it explains about the partial VIN on the block. If your engine is numbers matching, those numbers will match the last six digits of your car's VIN tag.
