Bought my 81 Base Camaro after a break-in, need to replace the locks and found some replacement tumblers with cut keys for a decent price on summit and I also need to replace the door handles at this time just because they're in cracked and bad shape.

Is this hard to do for a newbie? The only car experience i've had is changing brake rotors and pads, tunes ups and stuff on that level, and I have absolutely no body experience. I am hoping it will be fairly self explanatory after I pull the inner door panel off but i'm not so sure.

Tips, advice or anything else will be appreciated!

 

it was pretty easy just a pain in the but to get to every thing inside the door you should be abel to do it your self
