Carb rebuild!

Alright so I'm going to try and get him to lower it but will it not bolt up right away on to the edelbriock performer intake??

Oh, you have a Performer intake? Yeah, that'll work.

Okay I was looking at another carb also which is more in my price range!! What do I look for to make sure it's a good working carb is there any way or does it have to be hooked up??
edelbrock 750 cfm carb

Too big for a stock 350. You'd have to have a big cam, much better heads and plan on reving over 6000 rpm to use that much flow on a 350. I think you'd be very disappointed and it would be very hard to get it to run well. A carb in the 600 to 670 cfm range would be much better suited. I'd keep looking. I picked up an almost new 600 cfm Holley of local CL for $100 which I'll use until I get my 383 built up, then I'll switch to a 750 cfm Holley.

If you're still looking for a carb, Edelbrock 1406 600cfm Carburetor here is one in the DFW area. For a stock 350 and your intake, it should be rebuildable/slap on job.

Took a closer look.. it looks like its missing parts on the side, but idk..
