can anyone recongnize this engine?
back of the block on the drivers side,you will find the block#.you can look at the heads but that only tells you what the heads are,they could have been changed out and dont match the block.when you find the numbers go to www.mortec.com and look the numbers up.if this is a ebay motor i wouldnt buy it unless the seller verify's the engine.

I'm bought MANY cars for people online and the one thing I have learned is, if it looks to good to be true, then it is. the two things I do is have them take more specific pics for me and if the car still looks good, I hire an independant local appraiser to check the car out also. for 1000.00 this isn't worth it but buying a car on the hunch that it might have a nice engine isn't worth it either. 350's are a dime a dozen. I've thrown out no less than 5 good cores in the last year alone
