I have know idea what kind of power the motor is putting out all i know is it is pretty fast already. I might just leave the holley 650 on it cuz that is probably enough fuel already. When i get the car im gonna look up the numbers on the block to see what kind of power it has and what kind of heads are on it. If need be i might change the heads and the intake manifold. Im not looking to do too much im just looking for prolly around 350hp. Maybe run low 12's or high 13's.

2500 is the typical price for a decent 79 Camaro. 79's are typically priced less than most 1st and 2nd Gen Camaro's because they built so many of them and the power was down that year. From what it sounds like you should give the guy 3000 if it is in mint condition, original engine or not.
