Hey what's up everybody-
This is an excellent gathering spot!

So I posted about a week ago to ask whether people thought I should buy this 75 Camaro or not, based on the specs. I got great responses- (thanks so much- I hope the guys who responded find this) -so I got a diagnostic on it, which was solid, BOUGHT IT, ($2800) and I am in a new type of heaven. Love it!

(Side note on the price- thought it was a great deal- he just threw down $2K on paint and $900 on int.- low mileage-CD changer, remote car alarm, etc-he was a great guy too- SO I gave him the # he threw out there- I sold a Legend one time and regretted not slapping the idiot sitting in my car, smiling at me and bargaining over $50 when he was already getting a deal and times were real hard for me at the time)

So... A bunch of things....

(Not at all an expert...bare with me...)

1) Inline V6 original engine, with 98K miles. Runs solid. New starter, fairly new radiator, new spark plugs, new distr cap. A few minor leaks, Cat conv taken out- dual exhaust put in. -Questions: what can I do to help out the engine? I'm getting an oil change and a new air filter, but.... anything to help it out more...want to keep her happy...
2) My temp gauge does not work- any way to check on the engine while I'm driving? I've heard that V6 inlines cannot handle overheating well at all...
3) Once the car is warmed up, it never cuts off while driving. But when starting it, it sometimes takes 2 tries or so, (even after it is warmed) although it idles pretty well once it gets going. Is this what I have to live with with a 33 year old lover or can I throw something in there? (It does have a new starter)...

Any additional things to check on, be aware of- ANYTHING- hit me up!

Wanted to throw a bumper on the back, then decide on a fin or not... feel free to throw out your taste opinions....
