Default Body Mounts

So I was changing the body mounts on my car this weekend, when I got to the last one (naturally) the nut started spinning. Anyone have this happen to them yet? If so, how did u fix it? Am I going to have to cut a hole in the floor pan from inside to gain acces to it? Its the body mount under the drivers seat.

Are you talking about the one that's right behind the wheel well and is attached to the frame by a flange coming off the frame rail?

Nope, its the one underneath the drivers seat, towards the back of the subframe. Where the subframe connectors go.

The subframe bolts thread into a nut that is welded (usually tacked) to the body, and is usually buried in a cavity. He's saying that nut is spinning.[:@]
If you can't see it from above, under the carpet, I'm afraid you need to go digging for it. I know it's the same way with the leaf spring front mount to body bracket.

You can cut a small opening on three sides and fold it open. After you fold it back down, either weld it shut, or silicone it. Either way, you won't see it after the carpet is back down.
