1971 Camaro, will these 17" wheels/tires fit??
I am looking to buy a set of wheels off of my friend from his '69 Chevelle
I now have 15" ralley wheels with 255/60/15 in the rear and 235/60/15 in the front.
My car is a '71 Camaro with stock type suspension and stock brakes-power front disk and rear drums
the specs on the wheels/tires I want are
Rear 275/40/17 17x9 5.5 backspacing
Front 245/45/17 17x8 4.5 backspacing
Do you think these will fit my car??

With that back-spacing and tire size, it will be a close one.Will your friend let you try before you buy? Even if you were to take measurements and figure "on paper" that they would fit, I would still want to try them on first to make sure they fit right, and look good.
