You should get the B&M shifter cable as well as the B&M shifter brackets for attaching it to your oilpan so that it shifts correctly. I think the bracket kit is the same for the TH350 and TH400 and runs around 16 bucks. Atleast mine did. The cable might be a little more expensive but I think it comes with the shifter. Mine was already installed in the car when I bought it.

If you follow the instructions it'll be a fairly straightforward install. I also suggest that if the kit doesn't come with the transmission bracket and assembly that you buy that. It will save you a lot of geometry problems.

Have you ever used a ratchet shifter before?

Hey Kyph, So I got the shifter yesterday, opened it up and there was a new shifter cable and the brackets. Now on JEGS it said it that the console megashifter utilizes the stock cable but I read the instructions that I need to take it out. It looks pretty complicated to put together, but I'll give it a shot. I actually haven't used a ratchet shifter before...but I heard it was fun but tough to learn at first.

Cool, cool... I don't think it's too hard to put together but then again mine was already installed pretty much when I got it. I'm missing a lot of the "beauty" parts as you can see in this pic:

The routing of the cable is pretty simple also. The biggest thing is to make sure you've got the shifter setup 100% correctly otherwise it can damage the transmission by not fully putting it in gear at the right click.

I'm pretty sure you'll figure it out without too much difficulty. If you have any questions you're more than welcome to ask on here or IM me and I'll help with what I can.
