Default best positraction from factory?

I want to take a rear end out of a camaro for my 1981 short box chevy. I have been reading online and I found that the camaro came with several different positration differentials

Dana Positraction Differential
Eaton Positraction Differential
Chevrolet G&A Positraction Carrier
Oldsmobile Positraction Carrier
Warren/Warner Motive

OF all these,, which is the best for drag racing applications. Also, is there any way of finding out the gear ratio and positraction differential by looking for certain numbers in the VIN code.

I need a 10bolt 8.5' 3:73 gears or around there.
Thanks

Every second gen rear end I've ever seen was a 7.5 inch. The trucks had the 8.5 inch. Why do you want a car rear for a truck? Sorry if I'm a bit confused.
