axle help

Default axle help

hi,,i just got my new 79 383 stroker and i love it,, everything is new,,engine,tranny,diff,,

i have noticed a leak from the diff and want to top it up but i cant see a filled or drain plug on the axle,,, can someone shead some light on this please

The plug is on the side of the housing about halfway up. I think passenger side, but can't remember for sure.

thanks for the replie,, ill get a look tonite,,,, its probly fine but i just did a 350 mile round trip in saturday to a car show so just wanna check it,,

its first trip to a show and it won best custom

Congratulations! Probably should have checked the gear oil prior to the trip, rather than after. But once you know it's full you don't need to check it but maybe once a year, unless you have a leak.
