Default Any advice?

im a sixteen year old girl that wants a 78-81 camaro.
My original plan was going to be to get a project car for summer break and have it driveable by next year but my dad said he doesnt want another car sitting in the yard. so now i need to get a car that runs so i can go ahead and drive it and i can make mods to it in the mean time.
but what i am needing help on is finding one for a good price.
i also cant go far to get it.
i live in louisville ky so anyone have any advice on where to get one at a good price that at least runs.
it doesnt need to be some big show car or anything.
i still want a project car but just for the sake of being able to have it while i still live with my dad, it needs to run.
thanks.

yea definitely craigslist, got my 80 on it for 1000 running. Didn't look half bad replaced all the interior. Out there you dont need smog right? Thats all I had to replace on it. Wasn't bad for 1000 I think.

Echo the above ideas. I found mine on e-bay. Even if its a distance, you could find reasonable shipping fees. Craigslist is a great resource.
