Sounds like the battery cable to the starter might be bad/corroded or the fuseable link has busted if you have one. Check those first.

Check your connections and make sure every thing is nice and secure. Also make sure you dont have build up on the terminals. Also double check the voltage on the battery and make sure it has a charge.

So, what happened when you put the new battery in and turned the key? How did it run before it sat?

it ran and drove well before i parked it

how bout battery cables, check your ground, tighten your terminals... still nothing? look for rats nesting in the wire harness.

took it to a mechanic he said i needed a new wiring harness and steering column
