Default 81 z28 coil springs for big block

Can anyone tell me if this will work? I just bought a 81 z28 that has a 454. The person that put it in, had the wrong coil springs installed. It sits about 2 plus inches to high. A guy at the parts house said that the standard springs for a berlineta with a/c would work just fine since the 454 is just about 150 pounds heavier than the 350 that was in it. He said b/c of the options that were on the berlineta, it made it heavier than the z28 so the standard springs would support it well and sit correctly.

An info would be helpful.

Thanks!
