74 parts interchangeable with a 72?

Default 74 parts interchangeable with a 72?

I have a 72 camaro and there is a 74 lt down the road from my house for sale!! I was wondering if any of the 74 parts are interchangeable? Mostly i was wonderingabout theinterior parts and sheet metal!! I think i can get the 74 for about 500 dollars!! Any help would be great!! Thanks!

yep 74 and the 74 are pretty much the same thing out side and in other than the obvious diffrences like the bumbers and styling. but the sheet metal should be the same and the interior parts shuld go on just fine.

All the windows are the same
Doors are the same
Front fenders and hood are the same
Drivetrain is all interchangeable
Some of the interior pieces are a different style but will interchange

Yeah, the sheetmetal is the same but the core support is different (holes for the front braces in 74 and up). The floorpans are the same for 70 - 74 since in 75 they put catalytic converters under the car and made room it in the floor pans. I can't remember if the steering column changed though. Almost the only thing that really changed in these years were some basic styling choices on the interior and of course the front fascia and rear fascia. Other than that you have a decent chance to get a parts car.

How decent is the condition of the type LT? I'm looking for some parts that are specific for my year that I'm missing. Hit me up if you want and I'll let you know what I'm looking for.
