You could've found someone who just HATES camaros. I've run across a few. Another thing to ask is info on the title. Does your state make things difficult to obtain a new title if the car is missing it? If this is for real I would pawn stuff to buy it. I bought mine for 500 15 years ago and it had no motor, trans, right quarter and the paint was bad.

A 7K car on sale for $250 and no one bought it yet? This story is getting less believable every minute. If you can't come up with the money tell your Mom and Dad you can make $5000 in one week if they lend you $250. Then just put in a ebay.

It's sitting at a place here in my town. it's a place who tows cars and does work. There are junk cars sitting around everywhere in the back behind a tall fence. the camaro is in the front area outside the fence with other cars. i assume they just want to get it outa there.

Hey, thanks for that bit of info! Is their shop the one on Cushing street?
You better not dilly-dally, I got their phone number too.
Oh, and I see they have a nice flatbed truck.
Let's see, from MA to IL is about 1,000 miles....add the five, carry the three...it's still a good deal...delivered!!!
They may even take a credit card over the phone.
I gotta start writing my next post now. How's this for a title....
"Take a Look at my New 73 Camaro"!!!
Don't snooze, man!!!

if you cant come up with 250 for the car you will have a hard time paying 3000 for a good trans

Well I may have a way of buying it. And it's gonna be a long term project. I'm not in a rush to get it drivable just yet.

A working used Th350 can be found for $200-$300. 3K would be a new tranny or a really hi preformance one. Even back in the 80's when 2nd gens where at their lowest value that car would sell for more the $250. I bought a 72, 6 cyl back in 1984 that needed a tranny for $200 it was no where near that nice. I wish I still had it. I ended up parting it out along with my 70 Charger and my 70 Challanger. That is a long road of regrett.
