Default 73 Sport Coupe

Hey guys, I havent been aorund in a while to post but here I am.

Iv'e been watching this camaro that has been sitting at an auto place for quit some time and i went by it earlier and now it says it;s for sale for what I think is $250! I hope that's what it said, because it sounds like a good deal to me. But Im not sure, they say it needs a tranny. I've heard that's expensive. Here are some pics:

What do you guys think? Good deal or no?

$250 is a good price for one front fender. If they sell you that car for $250 they are complete morons. I could part that car out for 3K. No title and a bad tranny it could still go for $2500 just as a parts car.

As solid and complete as that car looks, even $2,500 is a steal!
What's their phone number? I'll call them for you, just to make sure it's a good deal!

I'm really hoping it's $250 not $2500. They seem to just want to get rid of the thing. It's been sitting there for a while, I've been watching i closely the whole time. I'm gonna take a look after school and make sure. I really would love this car now, considering my birthday is in june, that's when i'm finally 16.

Someone is pulling you chain. When I said $2500 that is a car that can not be titled and has to be parted out. If the under neath is solid and all it needs is a tranny its a 7K car.

This is a local car for me. Who ever buys the below car is looking a 3K in parts. 10-15K to have a pro fix it. Note the reserve has not been hit yet.

SO what are you saying? It's not worth it? If I was going to buy it, I would buy it as a parts car?

No, What I am saying is they are not going to sell you that car for $250. There are a half a dozen diffenret parts on that car worth $250 ea. You either misunderstood what they said or they a having some fun with you. You have about as much chance of getting that car for $250 as I have of getting a new Vet for $99 a month.

That ebay link showed a 73 that need completely rebuild thats $6000-10,000 worth of body work. The guy refused to sell it for $1125.

The car says "sale $250-" on the windshield. And they can't mean $250,000. And if it was 2500, they would just put that. They just put that on the car recently.

Where are you located? I wish there were deals like that around here, assuming the price it for real. You sure a "0" didn't fall off their sign?
To give you an example...from the looks of it, the front and back bumpers together are worth more than $250. Who owns a car like that who doesn't know what they have, as far as it's value is concerned?
