Default 71 header install problem-help

I have a 71 Camaro with a 350 and every set of headers I have tried to install, the right collector is 1" higher than the left and is to high and hits the floor. The left side fits fine. Has anybody had that problem and if so what did you do to solve the problem. Everything in the car looks stock so I don't know else to try.
Thanks.

Motor mounts? Where is it higher? Possibly one of your hangers on the exhaust system is busted.

The collector on the right side header is 1" higher than on the driver side header. There is no exhaust on the car now since I am installing a new system. Everything on the car - engine, floor and frame are all the same height from side to side so when I try to install the headers the left one fits nice but the right one hits the floor at the collector. I guess I could install lower motor mounts to give me clearance at the floor but then the fan does not line up with the rad shroud.
