77 camaro rear suspension

Default 77 camaro rear suspension

i just bought a 77 camaro i am tryin to lift the rear uspension anyone reccomend anything to do i have stock leaf springs and shocks the car sits to low the front is higher than the back

I would guess the leaf springs need replaced. You could shackel them up but it will not correct a worn out spring.

air shocks or new leaf springs

can you put the axle below the springs if the axle is on top of the springs you should be able to and the best part is its free

85driftmaro,have you ever looked under a 2nd gen camaro it's completely diffrent than a 3rd gen.and no you cant put the springs on top.

i did a spring over on my yj, that lifted it about 6 inches. i have never heard of doing a spring over on a camao, i would stay away from that. you should just replace them. or weld on new hangers at the back that are longer
