I have been offered a '70 RS project roller. The package includesrolling chasis, new hood, new door skins, new trunk, new thrunk pan (installed), new passenger floor pan (installed), new rear quater panels (installed but not tacked yet), 350 V8 (4 bolt), and probably a handfull of other misc. pieces. All new sheetmetal is Goodmark brand.

I have always been a "car guy", but never done any restoration and/or body work. I need pointers on what to look for, where to start, and help in general. Anyone care to clue me in on a few things?

I really would like to know the value of this package deal. I know this is hard to do without pictures. I feel that it is an excellent deal, but still got cold feet.

The car belongs to a long time friend and co-worker. He is very knowledgable on antique cars and has a beautiful '70 Chevelle SS that he built, but the problem is that he moved about 8 hours away from me. The car is in storage and he doesn't want to have to ship it to where he is. That is why he offered it to me.

Someone help me decide whatto do!

Well i love my 70 RS, great car. Looks awesome. a 350 is a solid engine. It all depends on the price though...

 

I can get into this thing for $1200 as it sits. What do you think?
