69 camaro trim tag

69 camaro trim tag

Help I have a pre "x" code car and it has a code that I don't know on the trim tag.

R269 does anyone have a clue what this means?

It just means it was built the 18th day of the month and was the 269th down the assembly line that day. This is otherwise know as a location H code.
