Default 1980 Lt1 install

I have a few questions about the install of an LT1 into a 1980 Berlinetta with a 305 (very tired I might add)
1. What am I getting myself into?
2. Will the LT1 will bolt to the th350?
3. Anyone know of a kit that will make this easier?
4. Anyone have any experience, words of wisdom, or any other helpful insights?

I suspect the engine should bolt up, but your main problem is that this is a computer controlled engine and you will need all the wiring harnesses and computer that goes with it. Also the fuel system is different and will have to be modified to support the fuel injection system.

Thanks for the quick response... Definitely hear what you're saying about the fuel and computer... The comp is coming with the engine and the painless kit takes care of the wiring, as for fuel I'm going with new fuel pump is there be anything else that I need?

The pump will have to make enough pressure (around 55 PSI) in order to work with the LT1 fuel system.
