hi,,, new here,,,can somebody help me out,,,i bought a 1980 z-28 that a guy was in the middle of restoring ,,,it had nothing on it for brakes,,,i bought a new master cylinder and brake booster from autozone,,,when they are mounted on the car they are no where level,,,i can not close the hood because the hood hits the master cylinder,,,,is there some kind of angle bracket that goes on the firewall before the booster goes on or did i just get the wrong one,,,the booster that came with the car is the same way ,,but i do not know if that was the origanal booster or not

 

hey ..i dont kno about the hitting the hood but i kno on mine the master cylinder does sit on an angle ..idk if that will help but im pretty sure they arent suppose to sit level
