Default Master Cylinder

So I was at a cruise in at Hooters yesterday and when I was leaving, I got the dreaded pedal to floor and one wheel lock up. Talk about being spooked! An Advance Auto Part was a couple blocks away so I parked the car and walked to get a can of brake fluid. By the way, for the next week, it's two for one. Anyhow, I fill the rear reservoir and got the car home. Sure enough, the MC is pouring from the rear seal. I called back to Ad Auto to see if they could get me one and was told yes, direct replacement for 69.99. I said order it and they had it today. I get it home and this is what it looks like.

No way is this ugly slug going on my car. My question, who has an orignal looking master cylinder, like this

without the wait from Year One or one of those companies. Has anyone bought on from NAPA or O'Reilys etc?

Thanks girls/guys!

try another parts house first then go to a first gen Camaro place. you could get a rebuild kit but last time I went to get one they are having a hard time to find them.

ss68, Yep you have to be careful about buying parts for our type
cars from the big box auto stores, because they may work, but they are not a look alike.
I would try and get a rebuilding kit,or get yours rebuilt by someone in antique ,classic
brake parts and master cyls. but you will have to wait if you do that. ed
