Need master and slave cylinder help!!!
Hey guys I really need good advice on this one. I am replacing both the master and slave cylinder on my 97 Z28 (6 speed). I've never performed this operation on my baby before and need kind of a how to guide. If you guys can please help me out with this it would be very much obliged. I know it's a lot to ask but if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks a lot- Steve

The fun part is getting the master cylinder out and back in. the nuts for the master cylinder is under the dash you may have to pull the carpet back to see. I layed upside down so I could see them there is a clip on the clutch pedal that will get very annoying if you forget it. Then you have to pull it out from under the brake booster. If you have small hands it won't be to bad. unless the trany is a tremec the slave cylinder is internal. you pritty much have to remove the trany to get to it. I did mine at home with out lifting the car. just park on a hill so the driver's side is up. there are two nuts holding the slave cylinder in on the driver's side. what ever you do when you don't have pressure on the slave don't push the master it will blow the seals, and you will have to start all over.
