Default 1975 Camaro Tranmission Help

Hello;
I just bought a 1975 Chevy Camaro and I want to restore it.. It has a 350 engine in it with an automatic transmission.. I would like to change the automatic transmission to a 4 speed standard transmission...
Could anyone PLEASE tell me what car or truck would interchange with my Camaro so there wouldn't be any complications when I install it back in the car?
Thank You
Jay

The pedals out if a Firebird will work, you will need the linkaage assembly,fork,shifter, of couse the trans, trans cross member,drive shaft. If I think of more I'll let you know.

Is there any other car or truck that i can pull a 4 speed transmission out of to make it work in my '75 Camaro.. Most people that are selling parts hear the Camaro name, they think they can jack the price up just because its from a Camaro.. Thought maybe i could pull it from a different type of donor car or truck maybe the price would be so high...
Any other help would be greatly Appreciated...
Thanks Again;
Jay

i would think any standard trans from a 70s GM product. Try looking for a Grand Prix,c/k pickups , Caprice. call some junkyards and ask for a 70s manual trans to bolt to a 350.
