Default ‘79 Camaro AC remove

My AC quit working a while back so I removed a lot of the system. It probably saved 125 lbs. in weight but really cleaned up the engine bay. The dryer is still attached with open ports (see photo). Should I cap them off? I will probably install a newer/lighter AC system in the future. Also are there any plastic plugs to insert in the screw holes in the fender wells?
Thanks for any help!

From an AC wellness point of view it is too late to save anything by plugging it. So at this point plugging is just cosmetic. Some will say you should plug it to keep moisture out but your dryer is already full and sealing a system that already has moisture contamination could hurt as much as help depending how much you drive the car and how hot it is outside.

Many hardware stores have various plugs that should work on the hoses. Plastic Body pushpins would work on sheet metal holes.

Once you bring the AC back to life you will need to replace the dryer/receiver and put the system under vacuum for at least a couple of hours. There is a good chance the dryer bag ruptured so do not try to run a system without replacing the dryer.
