Getting ready to order the grill assembly for the 67 RS/SS restore project. Going to need the grill and at the very least the upper chrome and headlight bezels (probably end up getting the lower chrome too). How are the repops? The car is a very original number matching unit, so trying to make it as correct as possible. Original GM stuff is still available, but at 6X the cost.

Thoughts? Experience?

If your fenders are original you should be OK... I heard that the reproduction bezels done quite match up with the nose of the fenders. Most of the reproduction comes from the same manufacture no matter were you purchase. If you can find original new and willing to pay the $$$, go for it. If you can find original used, expect to do some cleaning/polishing/painting and $. The reproductions are made cheap and don't match up exactly so a little finagling will be needed. Also make sure your clips, nuts & bolts need come with the trim. May have to purchase a kit separately...?
