Hi from new guy in Australia! will 20x8s fit?
hi all fellow camaro fanatics.
my name is Johnny and i am a 24 year old male from Melbourne Australia.
i'm not really into modern cars and happen to have a car addiction, so that sucks...
to add to my collection of classics i recently purchased a 1969 camaro.
i love the 1st gen camaro's and always have since i was a young child, i think the bug was passed down from my father who owns a 57' belair pillarless coupe, and a 57' 4 door pillarless sedan.
as the restoring process is a lot more expensive for me down here, i need to make sure every decision i make is the right one, because if its not...... well ill be living with it untill i can afford to change it.
the restoring has recently taken a back seat due to some ***** from your proud land deciding to **** over some poor bastered (me) in australia.
he has decided to molester the fenders then half *** weld them back on, then fill the whole thing up with filler (i think you guys call in bondo??) we call it bog down here.... so long story short im cutting them out and putting on new fenders, should be fun times a head.
i will be sure to post pictures and add more details about the car, and its twin turbo 350 donk, but for now i was hoping if you kind people could answer me a quick question.
i need to know if 20x8 inch rims with a back space of 5.75" will go under a stock 69, currently the tires are 275/40/20 but have no issue in going for a lower profile... say a 30, if that would help. i also dont mind about rolling the lip on the fender, just dont want to touch anything else.
thank you so much in advance guys.
my next next post will share how i accidentally set it on fire... how my foot got stuck through the windscreen, the engine and how i purchased everything doors forward brand new.
thanks guys!
