Default Hockey Stick

..I'm going to look at 69 RS/SS 350..It has the hockey stick stripe with the 350 emblem on front of fender. Is there suppose to be a Gap in the black paint where the emblem is mounted..I have a 67 that has the gap but it's the bumble bee stripe of course..This 69 hockey stick is solid..thanks

Yes, on a 69 there should be a gap.

Stripe has a gap for the engine emblems unless it's a 6 cylinder car, then it's left solid for obvious reasons. From the factory assembly manual:

If it truly is authentic, the stripe is painted on the fender and a tape stripe on the door. And don't forget to look at the X code on the bulkhead trim plate (if it has an X code of course).

X-11 style trim package (doesn't mean it's an SS but could be)
X-55 base SS 350
X-66 base SS 396
