68 Camaro, Installing a 700R4 in place of a TH350 for a SB Chevy. There are several cross members and mounts to choose from. Any recommendations?

 

Thus, just completed this task. A couple of changes still. The additional length of the 700r4 requires a driveshaft shortening of 2 1/2 inches. Too, another Transmission Crossmember support section which I procured from Tie Overdrives in California. These society represent considerable authority in this and make custom pieces based for specific years. Mine, was explicitly made for 80-81. Enthusiastically suggested. All out cost to purchase and get transported up to Vancouver, BC was around 450 bucks.
