As some people already know, I have been doing a lot of game planning and shopping for my future build so I am prepared for when that time comes. I really thought about doing the T56 swap, but after seeing some things, I've just about threw that idea out the window.

Well what I'm wondering is since mine is a 4L60E, will it be much of a hassle if I went from a 4L60E to a non-electronic 700R4? (Not sure if they make electronic 700R4 to begin with..) The reason I want to go with a non-electronic is bc I want to do a full manual valve body and 700R4 is just a stronger, more popular race trans. Also, what companies offer very strong and durable 700R4s? And for how much?

700r4 and the 4l60e are for the most part the same trany, the 4l60e is electronic shift. here are a couple places that sell them both.
