Help with 302 ENGINE
is it complete? do you have the correct heads? obviously a bare block will bring less than a complete engine. there are many special parts that make up one of these ,and if your parts are correct in regards to date codes AND you have all of them, you shouldnt have any problem selling it
the motor is a 68. does the value change by year? if so which one is the most valuable? Also I have the correct heads and block and the only thing Im missing is the crank. other than that everything is there. What would it bring without the crank? would it be worth the investment to get a crank and put it together to get more?
well it depends if its a motor that came out of a car or if its a over the counter block. on the front of the block on the passenger side where the pad is. is there a MO or CE stamped into the pad?
a couple thousand because guys who are restoring cars want true motors that came out a car than a block that was over the counter. last time i saw a 302 for sale it was a DZ 302 which is the 69 motor because they have four bolt mains. it was complete for 7000 but that was 10 years ago. t
