350 oilpan giving me hard time
i canīt get the oilpan leak to stop...have changed new gasket etc and still dropping from the front...it seams like the front rubber gasket is too thin to make contact. I didnīt use any rtv during install, should i use rtv both sides of the gaskets?
the sides donīt leak...only the front seams to leak and little drop from the back...damn iīm frustrated at the moment...every time have to lift the engine to get the pan out etc so really hard job to do.
the pan is some kind of chinese peace i think because its chromed...is there supposed to be grooves in the oilpan gasket area? My old pan was flat and never had oil leak problems with that one, this has pressed grooves???
