Go to get my clutch kit and refinished flywheel tomorrow. I went ahead and got a 125$ kit, I guess once I get the engine power up I will worry about high end clutches and that stuff. My dad is here for the holidays so I'm sure he wont mind helping putting his old car back together.

So I got a torque wrench for Christmas and got the transmission all back on. Just bolted the shifter back together, its hitting the body in 3rd, but I will work on that. Wow what a pain getting the transmission bolted back up. The car is only about a foot off the ground and I only had a little floor jack, but finally managed to get it back in keeping my fingers crossed that the throw out bearing stayed where it was supposed to, looked good but you never know. Just have to fix the shifter, give it some 90 weight, and get the drive shaft back on and I will be back on the road to break something else. Merry Christmas all.

Took Dad out for a test drive and wow, the clutch shifts so smooth. The shift lever moved with no problems, only thing I forgot was to put the lube on the transmission splines. I guess I need to move on to the disc upgade for the front, exhaust (all thats on it now is the exhaust manifold; no pipes), and steering. The steering is pretty loose, dont know how to fix that but I'm sure I will come up with someting. Thanks for the help........
