Default 1969 Engine Casting Date Question?

Does anyone know if any 69 Camaros could have original engines in them from the factory which could have a 1970 casting date? My 350 engine has a casting date of May, 1970. I don't think its the original engine, but thought I'd throw it out there in the hope that it may be a possibility, Thanks!

Yes ,from what I remember the '70 models came out late and the '69's carried
over into early 1970.

No, it can't, yours is a replacement. Because of delayed production of the 70 model, the 69's were produced through November 1969, instead of the regular production end of July. Still, not into 1970 though. One sure way to check for an original engine, is to see if the partial vin on the passenger side front of the block matches the last 6 numbers of the car's vin.

Default 1970 LT-1 engines

Does anyone know if the 1970 Chevy LT-1's were made for the entire 1970 production year or just half the year (i.e. a 1970 1/2 Camaro Z28)? Thanks!
