Default 1969 427 help needed!!

Ok guys - i hope someone can guide me in the right direction. I have a '69 Camaro 427 with 410hp to the wheels, 4:10 12 bolt rear, M21 4 speed. When I get on it fairly hard and shift, there is a squealing noise. When i drive the car normal it doesn't do it......only when i get into it a little. Any ideas on what it could be? And, what is the best way to stop wheel hop? When i stand on it in first there is a ****load of wheel hop. Any advice would be great!

Well that noise could be a lot of things but the first thing I'd check is the fan belt.
Might want to check your U-joints too.
Traction bars will help a lot with the wheel hop.
I had a '69 with a 427/4 speed many moons ago, sure miss that car.

Would be helpful if you could say whether the squeal is coming from the front or back of the car. If the back, I'd suspect the tires!
If the front, yes could be the belt slipping at higher rpm's..

WD40 the fan belt. If goes away, get new belt. and check pulley alignment and fix if off.
