1967 327 with California Emissions

Your desire is what I am doing this weekend sans the headers. I have some confusion. There is a large vacuum hose running from the air cleaner to the somewhere behind the distributor. Do you know if it is going into the block, and can I plug the opening in the block when I remove all the smog gear?

That should be the " draft tube "
without emission it should be a tube with an elbow that dumps crank case ventilation on to the ground or below car.
Let me know if you are getting rid of any parts. I may have some interest.

Yup,the older cars before PVC had a small canister inside the back of the block with a sort of steel wool filter in it and then just a metal down tube attached to the block that vented to the atmosphere under the car.
