need feedback on anyone that has done an upgrade to tremec 5-speed in a 68. how is it!

 

I'm just getting ready to do a conversion from an auto to Tremec 6 speed in my 69 and have the same question. Hopefully someone has some feedback.

 

I made the swap from auto to a TKO 600 5 speed in my 68...i love it!

 

I am all ears on this one too. I have a brand new B&M TH350 in my 68 but I would love to have overdrive, and who doesn't love rowing through the gears on a muscle car? From what I hear if you are a mechancal wuss like me (I attempt small things... not transmission swaps...) I would be out 5,000-7,000 for a TKO500 installed.
