I just purchased a 68 that had a TKO600 installed but the backup lights were not connected. Here is what I know: The harness coming from the firewall to the transmission has 2 wires. The TKO600 has a 2 pronged plug (with 2 wires) for the backup lights to close the circuit and is not a switch at the shifter. There is one wire going to the trunk for the backup lights. Does anyone have an idea how I would connect all of this in order to make the backup lights work? I'm guessing that I would connect one of the wires on the TKO to the power and to the trunk and then the other wire to the second on the TKO? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
