Default Muncie shifter question

I recently replaced a Saginaw with a Muncie. The linkage lined up a little different and now my shifter seems too far to the right (passenger side). My current Hurst shifter had a slight off set towards the passenger side. Question is there a shifter that has an off set towards the driver side? If so, I think it would center perfect. Please see picture to see what I'm referring to. Thanks.

Years ago I had a different 69. The Hurst shifter was too close to the drivers side, so I heated up the stick with a torch and put a dog-leg (over & up) bend on it, right above where it bolts to the shifter so you won't see it. Cheaper and easier than replacing the shifter.
