Default bellhousing ??????

I am lookin to put a Vortec 5.7 out of a 97 Chevy into a 69 camaro. The camaro has the Saginaw 4 speed.....My question is: What bellhousing to I need to make this work? Will any manual bellhousing work or is this gonna be an adapter or machine shop deal. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

If the bolt pattern on the '97 Vortech block is the same as the older blocks then any Chevy bellhousing should work with the Saginaw trans.
I can't answer the if part though, personally I'd sell that POS Saginaw tranny and get something better it's a weak trans.
