Call the guys at Eaton Spring. They can set you up anyway you like with a good set of multi's at the height and load rate of your choosing at an affordable price.

Contact Eaton Detroit Spring

(313) 963-3839

They know their stuff and love to talk classic cars and share their knowledge.

J.C. Whitneys has a nova 3 spring unit that can be used to replace the monoleaf and shouldnt raise the car much at all!!
i just did this swap on my 68 and added adjustable shackles and shock extentions as i wanted it to sit a lil high in the rear. the springs are like 125 each i think.
the part number is 21-245 i believe!!

i also used traction bars for lower spring plates as they are a lil beefier than the stock plates!!

Hey burnt, where you been hidin?
How do you like the ride comfort and handling of those 3 leaf springs?
I have heavy duty 5 leafs on mine, and my suspension barely deflects an inch (I know by the fender clearance I have).
Plus it rides like a truck. I've been considering removing a leaf, and going with longer shackles to soften up the ride.

Thanks everyone, this is the information I been looking for.

Hey Burnt your car is sitting up like I want to keep mine, I have asked around about the J.C. Whitneys springs as I had read an OLD thread on them but could not find it again...

what kind of traction bars you have? you have a pic?

Thanks.

will get pics for you later, the traction bars are the regular oldschool type with the rubber snub at the front, square tube type.

Camaro69 it is a definet improvement over the worn out monos that were on it and it rides nice and smooth not truckish!!
I think the previous owner of mine installed bb springs in the front as it sits up pretty high so i want the rear to at least match or be level to it, and needed the clearance for the sidepipes as well!!!
