1969 Vibration dampers

Default 1969 Vibration dampers

Hello new to the forum just picked up a 69 convertible pretty rough but doable. It is missing the dampers on all 4 corners and there is a set on E Bay. Is there anyway to id these I have been told 69 Firebird and Camaro are the same.

Yes, they are needed for a convertible - cuts down on cowl shake.

Can't say about the cross fitment, but at $730, those would be towards the bottom of my restoration shopping list. You don't "need" them, but might want them if your car shakes and shimmies on the highway. Even if so, I would start with the front pair first and see if that smooths out the ride.
