Looks like a great project car! You might consider building your own rotisserie if you have good fab skills. Lots cheaper, and might even sell it for a profit when you're done with it.

Default Where are you buying your parts?

I am starting a project also this summer. I have decided (with the help of members here) to take the car back to completely original. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to purchase original or nearly original aftermarket part kits. I have been told some parts are better than others. If I am going to tear it down and put it back together I want to put the best original equipment back into it I can.

Have fun! Here is a link for the rotisserie I am considering.

There's a few places I've purchase Camaro parts. I've ordered most of my parts from www.firewheelclassics.com . Their located out of Dallas. I've also used Classic Industries. Be sure to sign up for their email adds. Right now Classic Industries is running a 20% off special. I buy most from FireWheel since they're located close to me. I find that if I buy enough in a single order they will give me a discount on many of the parts. The FireWheel steel I've purchased match up real close to the original, but there's always some adjustment that needs to be made. Good luck and have fun.

I thought it was time to update the group on the project status. It's been about 13 months. I've been busy. In stead of posting a lot of pictures here, I've loaded photobucket. Take a look at:
