I am going to try to do the same thing with the Seat Risers but then again, I won't be using Camaro seats so I may just fabricate some that are better than the originals... ya dig?

Custom fabrication seems to be better and easier in the long run, otherwise you sit there and fight to make things set together and then you step back and say "that looks like crap" mumbling somthing about stupid engineers under your breath, then people start thinking your crazy for talking to your self and....

Custom Fab!!!

Yeah, I'm with yas on that... i don't think that I could ever spend the time to develop one part like they do at the manufacturer... I do not possess the required amount of patience....

Speaking of patience, here are the pics of the holes for the front leaf spring mount. My wife hijacked the digital camera, I actually took these a few days ago then was wondering where the camera ran off too.

The first pic is the hole that I made in the frame rail to get a box end wrench in. The second two are the stock holes, and yes they get covered up by the bracket when it is in place. The 4th is the hole I drilled in the rear seat floorpan. You can see with the rust they were in need of replacement.

Hey thanks for the pictures... I'll see if I can find those holes on my ride, but I didn't see them, i probably wasn't looking in the right area...

So I had a big day the other day... I removed the majority of the floor and found a not so good surprise... The Pax Inner Rocker is rotted all the way through. The problem is that the outer rocker is rotted through at the same spot so I have a really bad weak spot right there until I can get it fixed. I think that I am going to buy a plasma cutter to help me out with this as I will probably have to do a LOT of cutting and shaping of metal and it will make it go very quickly.

The good news is that will be easy to repair because it is just flat metal and in an easy spot to get to...
