Well, I measured it the best that I could and the most consistent measurement that I got was about 5/16" difference between the left and right side... SOOOooooo I am going to call it good... I think that is close enough considering I used my super secret scientific method (not really) but I am satisfied that it will be safe enough to drive... Whenever I get to that point...

So I think it was blade that said something about having a dirty garage... Well, here is all the crap thatI have in my garage... The shelf to the right is all parts... top to bottom...

here is the aft subframe mount and the remainder of the subframe mount...You can see why it was a pain to get it off of there..

And then there is the other side.... I tried to remove as much as I could with it on the car but it was very difficult... It'll be much easier to work on when I get it upside down...

Oh I did measure the subframe as best as I could with a tape measure but I feel that it was pretty inaccurate... There are tram gauges at my work that I could use, so I may go that route to put my mind at ease... I think that the worst one that I got was thedistancebetween the aft mount which wasmaybe .5" off but I think that can easily be corrected when I get the crossmember in...

 

does anybody have any clues as how to get the fwd leaf spring mounts out if the nuts are turning? about 4 of the 6 bolts are spinning but not coming out,... Any help?

I feel your pain on the nuts spinning. I had the exact same problem 4 spinning even with a impact wrench. 2 were easy, cut hole in floorpan. The 2 that were in the frame rail mount, well 1 was easy since I knew I was replacing the frame rail I cut a generous hole and put a box end wrench in.

The 1 hour nut and bolt removal was the right frame rail where I had to cut a square hole just big enought to fit my box end wrench in and then wiggle it over the rusted nut enough to get pressure on it, then impact wrench zipped it out.

Now that I have the thing apart I see where they left holes to slip the clips that originally held the nut in place thru the walls. I'll get some pics tonight.
