Colour Confusion ???
Hey there new member here. Great site by the way. I am hoping that someone on there can steer me in the right direction. I am at the painting stage on my 68 RS convertible and having great difficulty in finding the "Colour Match" of "Corvette Bronze" code "0" for my car. There was no original colour left on the car even for a scan, I have had 4 different colour samples sprayed out and none are close either too RED or too Orange ??? .......
Help.
Help.

Welcome to the club.
You might visit a custom professional body shop and ask them for a sample.
Most major paint companies have a recipe for paint color and the senior mixer would know what other color to add for bringing back the bronze color.
Find a Bronze Corvette friend?

Have you considered looking for a period paint chip chartlike what was in the dealer albums? That would give an idea of the shade. Here's a link from Ebay to an auction. I'm not sure of the date of chips though.
Your painter will be able to cross reference from these vintage paint brands and stock numbers for Corvette Bronze, code 992:
Lucite #4910-LH
Ditzler #22969
Rinshed-Mason #A-2010
