Default Adjusting windows

Now that its getting cold out I finally decided to roll up the windows and found that the glass in the passenger door overlaps the chrome edging on the quarter window. I'm told that I need to adjust the quarter window. I'm not sure how to do this. What do I need to remove to get at the mechanism and what do I do when I get there? Any suggestions or instructions would be appreciated.

I have the same problem, but only on the passengers side. when I roll it up I just stop short. but the wife always rolls it all the way up and then the front glass hits the chrome like you said. Im thinking Ill have to pull the rear panel to be able to even see the mechanism so thats probably a good place to start. I believe theres a metal tab in there that acts as a stop. It may be bent a little from all the years of ups and downs.

There are not that many adjustments to it. There is the angle adjustment to level the window with the door opening or seal. There is the vertical limit, the adjustment to push the window against the outer rubber squeegee. and the bottom limit. I just rebuilt my doors and found that the 1/4 windows were not adjusted correctly and I rolled them down a little to mate with the trailing edge of the front windows.

sorry for the hijack but i think i also need to adjust my drivers door glass, there a gap between the glass and top seal near the pillar and also on the pillar its as if it dosent close onto the seal enough, are there adjustments that can be made to bring the glass toward the cab and onto the seal?
