If I read that right it is a flood damage insurance sale. Let say its a 25K car. The insurance company could have fixed it but they know better. To do the repair right you would have pull everthing apart. I mean down to breaking apart the cowl supports to clean out the mud. If there is mud it will rust infact it has already started. Most restoration shops avoid flood cars. $3500 is a great deal but don't think your just going to flip it for 10K As long as its a R title with flood damage as the reason it will never be worth near what it was pre flood. One thing to remember about the rag tops is if the rocker panel rust that is the same a frame rust on a normal car.

If you had more detail about how deep the water was and how long it was under water we could help with the value. If you are looking for a quick buck look for late model car. There are to many pros doing it with 1 gen camaros.

That car will end up as a parts car for one of the new bodies ($3500 is cheap for all the parts need for that build) or someone will try to hide that fact it was a flood car by fixing it cosmedicly and transfering it to a state that does not have R titles.

 

The guy that has it ships cars around the country and he doesnt think it was all higher than the hubs. He said that he gets cars in from texas like that from water above the roof to only the bottoms of the tires. Im not going to buy it I was only interested in the other one because it was $500. I need that to buy a parts truck for my 70 f100.
